Podcast: Leveraging the global space supply chain, with Professor Peter Moar

In this episode of the Space Connect podcast, Professor Peter Moar, head of Space Instrumentation Engineering Group at Swinburne University and chair of Engineers Australia National Committee for Space Engineering, unpacks his team’s technique for partnering with the German Aerospace Centre and Teledyne Brown Engineering to take university laboratory research capability and successfully deploy it as part of the DLR Earth Sensing Imaging Spectrometer (DESIS) mission.

He also explains how Australian industry, in partnership with academia, can secure participation and deliver capability into global space supply chains. This leads into the discussion of Swinburne’s upcoming Space Industry Supply Chain Readiness Course in partnership with the German Aerospace Centre and OHB Germany's largest sovereign space prime aimed at assisting Australian organisation make that significant step to secure more international projects and thereby generate the high value add tech jobs back here in Australia.
