Swedish Space Corporation set to rename to SSC Space

Swedish Space Corporation has announced that it will change its name to SSC Space at the beginning of the new year. The name change is intended to better reflect SSC’s global presence and business focus.

“Under one global brand, we can fully leverage the strength of our leading market position. SSC Space will continue to build on the recognition and trust established over decades, maintaining the same mission, values and expertise – with the same commitment to helping Earth benefit from space,” said Charlotta Sund, president and CEO of SSC.

SSC currently operates globally and has a strong presence in multiple nations, including Sweden, Australia, Canada, Germany and the United States. The name transition will also see SSC’s subsidiary companies LSE Space and Aurora Technology adopting SSC Space.

“We operate on a truly international stage, supporting missions and customers across the globe. To unify our identity, strengthen our market presence, and foster a shared culture of pride and engagement, we are evolving our brand to SSC Space,” said Carina Aspenberg, senior vice president and head of communications at SSC.

The transition will also see logo, font, colouring and other marketing features altered slightly to reflect this new era of SSC.

SSC is currently a key global provider of advanced space services, assisting space organisations, research bodies and commercial/institutional customers.
