SCA has previously captured attention for its work in space infrastructure and launch operations while developing the nation’s first large-scale, multi-use spaceport designed to support vertical, horizontal, and airborne science missions.
The new Rack Code Labs artificial intelligence project is reportedly envisioned to build advanced artificial intelligence and intelligent software infrastructure with organisational controls and designed for secure environments.
“Excited to finally share what we’ve been building. Today marks the official launch of Rack Code Labs LLC a new chapter focused on artificial intelligence, autonomous systems and intelligent infrastructure,” a public statement from Palmer said.
“We’ve been quietly building some seriously exciting technology behind the scenes, and over the coming weeks we’ll start revealing what comes next.
“For now, welcome to Rack Code Labs LLC. Building intelligence you can own.”
The new project will reportedly be built with human authority remaining at the centre of autonomous systems. In addition, the company is expected to target software, AI, digital engineering, and infrastructure for organisations operating in complex environments.
“Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming part of critical business, engineering and operational infrastructure. But much of today’s AI ecosystem assumes that intelligence lives somewhere else. Your data leaves your environment,” a statement from Rack Code Labs said.
“Your models run on infrastructure you don’t control. Connectivity becomes a dependency. And increasingly important organisational capability becomes dependent on external platforms.
“We think there should be another option. Rack Code Labs LLC is developing intelligent systems capable of operating locally, at the edge and across distributed infrastructure while remaining under the control of the organisations deploying them.
